![]() The Topaz software helps me a great deal in creating my fine art black and white photography and it simplifies a lot the workflow I’m using. I am working with the Topaz Labs Collection and especially the BW Effects 2 plugin for a few years already and the experience was always great. As you can imagine, this is one of my most popular courses. I make a demo on how to use Topaz BW Effects 2 and the other Topaz plugins at my workshops, together with a walk through my entire black and white processing workflow Photography Drawing™, to show how I process the award-winning images that brought me the highest distinctions, like Photographer of the Year IPA International Photography Awards. Especially now that many of these plugins can be found in Topaz Studio 2 too, with AI technology incorporated, there is no limit to what you can do with Topaz. I consider the Topaz collection the most advanced and complete set of plugins on the market today and I use many of the plugins it comprises when working on my photographs. It is a complete evaluation of my main black and white converter and the plugin I use the most in my work, together with the new Topaz AI plugins, as DeNoise AI (the best denoiser I have ever worked with), Sharpen AI (a great sharpener), Adjust AI (which is great also for when I work in color), Mask AI (the best mask and selection creator that can save you hours of editing in Photoshop), Gigapixel AI (fantastic tool for enlarging images and preparing for print). This is an updated and enriched version of the very popular Topaz Labs BW Effects 2 Full Review, which I first wrote when Topaz BW Effects 2 was launched. haha Any help would be awesome.Topaz Labs BW Effects 2 Full Review, an in-depth review of what I consider the best black and white converter on the market LATEST UPDATE Line by going to properties/details) the title then can be changed with the program!? wow I am lost. The other strange thing is when I edit any of the fields that were put there by the camera (so in this example I change the subject I thought maybe security and permissions so I tried adding Everyone and giving them full control but still the same issue. Its very strange because the comment field works fine because its not already filled in! lol I don't Some of the images have the camera model filled in for the title by default. Everything seemed to be running fine with the test images I was using but when I tried using some pictures that were taken fromĪ camera something very strange happens. I am using it in a user control I am building for a windows forms app. So I have been working with the code for about 4 hours now. Thank you very much for the posts and the explanations. ![]() :0) This photo editing issue has been KILLING me for weeks now! Your code works great for me and even though I don't understandĮverything thats going on you have saved me from just giving up. I am such a newbie that it's really quite embarrassing. I don't normaly post on forums and I don't normaly ask for help. You can set the properties of the fake/template image file using Windows Explorer. PropertyItem propItem = fakeImg.GetPropertyItem((int)id) ![]() Private static void SetPropertyItemString(Image srcImg, Image fakeImg, ImageMetadataPropertyId id, string value)īyte buffer = (value) System.IO.File.Move(newFileName, imageFile) SetPropertyItemString(srcImg, fakeImg, ImageMetadataPropertyId.Title, title) SetPropertyItemString(srcImg, fakeImg, ImageMetadataPropertyId.Subject, subject) SetPropertyItemString(srcImg, fakeImg, ImageMetadataPropertyId.Keywords, keywords) SetPropertyItemString(srcImg, fakeImg, ImageMetadataPropertyId.Comment, comment) SetPropertyItemString(srcImg, fakeImg, ImageMetadataPropertyId.Author, author) Using (Image srcImg = Image.FromFile(imageFile)) String newFileName = imageFile.Replace(".jpg", ".new.jpg") Image fakeImg = Image.FromFile("fake.jpg") image file that *does* contain the needed properties as a template. PropertyItem has no defined constructors. Static void SetImageInfo(string imageFile, string title, string comment, string author, string keywords, string subject) SetImageInfo("laser.jpg", "Title", "Comment", "Author", "Keywords", "Subject") So we have to save to a temporary file, then replace the old file with the new one. Another catch is that we cannot save the modified image file directly, because it's locked by GDI+. That's why we must use a image file, where all the needed PropertyItems already exist as a template. Hi Jeevan, The Image class has a SetPropertyItem-method, but unfortunately there is no constructor for a PropertyItem.
